National Lawyers Guild Delegation Welcomed to Pakistan

A delegation of four lawyers and four law students from the U.S.-based National Lawyers Guild began their 10-day fact-finding mission in Pakistan today.Advocate Hamid Khan welcomed the delegation to Pakistan at a dinner at Gymkhana Club attended by dozens of prominent lawyers.

The mission of the delegation is to assess the impacts of the Provisional Constitutional Order and the removal of the judges on Pakistan’s democratic institutions.
